Welcome:

       Welcome to the Pelham side of the family.  I will be putting all the information I can find about my Pelham ancestors here.  If you have any information on this side of my family, please contact me to fill in the gaps.

Background:

         The Pelham name is of British origin; the line I'm from can be traced back to my great, great, great grandfather, William Pelham.  He lived in the Connecticut Valley, near Wilton Connecticut in the Early 1800's.  He married an Arnold, who's family goes back even further in Wilton.  I believe that line comes from the Rhode Island Arnolds, who's best known relative was an early governor of that colony.
