Welcome to the Smith side of the family.  I will be putting all the information I can find about my Smith ancestors here.  If you have any information on this side of my family, please contact me to fill in the gaps.

Background:

         My Grandfather grew up in NY.  From the family details, I believe that his family did not approve of his wife (my grandmother) because she was Protestant (Heaven Forbid!) and he became estranged from them.  I would think that these feelings are long forgotten and I, certainly, would welcome any contact with them.
